The centre of Rotterdam is familiar of it's city triangle. This name comes from the historical triangular form of Rotterdam. Since the Middle Ages the triangular heart of the city was the area were all the trade and harbour activities took place.
The shelling of 1940 has destroyed allot of the historical buildings in the Centre of Rotterdam.
The international flag parade on the famous trees quay, the Maritieme Museum, The Havenmuseum Rotterdam in the Oude Haven, the walk of Fame, - this is all on walk distends in the centre of Rotterdam.
